We are up early today as school starts back up after Christmas vacation. Even though it was hard to drag myself away from the warm cocoon of my covers, the shots I got down by the river on the way home made up for it.
It's only 9a.m. but I've already gotten the shot of the day and here are all the second bests. I love them all. What a great way to remember the year. I hope I can discipline myself to stick with this. Maybe I'm so excited because I got to photograph something outside of the yard for a change. Whatever it is, I'm feeling good about these.
The house in the first few shots is for sale so my plan, if anyone caught me walking around photographing it, was to say I was interested. I was, just not in

These shots are down at the public boat ramp, one of my favorite places to stop.
This is one of the many murals that grace our downtown area. This one was only partially completed for what seemed like years. They finally finished it and I got to get a shot this morning. I call it Vanishing Point Mural. lol
